The Food System Resilience is a Global Food Security (GFS)-led five year programme, supported by BBSRC, ESRC, NERC, and the Scottish Government aiming to address the major challenge ‘Resilience of the UK food system in a global context’.
GFS on behalf of the programme funders is inviting applications for a Programme Coordinator to lead, manage and coordinate the programme activities.
Funds of £560,000 (at 80 per cent fEC) complemented by a ring-fenced budget of £100,000 (at 100 per cent fEC) to support adhoc Knowledge Exchange (KE) activity, are available for a single grant for 4-5 years.
It is anticipated that the coordinator will be in post to coincide with the start of the first awards
and not later than 30th October 2016. This will enable the coordinator to maximise their
time spent bringing the projects together.
Applicants should refer to the BBSRC website and the Announcement of Opportunity for further details.
