Research Development Manager – RCUK & Charities
You will have specific responsibility for our relationships with Research Councils UK and charities – providing specialist advice in these areas to our academic staff and helping with the development and submission of funding applications. You will play a critical role in cultivating our research environment through development and implementation of research funding strategies to increase the quantity and range of research funding activity across the university. To be successful, you will need:
- A degree/post graduate degree
- A proactive and flexible approach
- An in-depth understanding of Higher Education and the research funding landscape – particularly in regards to charities and RCUK
- Exceptional communication skills and the confidence to liaise with people at all levels.
