The BBC is holding a free training day for female experts who are interested in appearing on television, radio and online as presenters.

They want to hear from women with recognised expertise in science, history, politics, business or engineering.

The training will be held at the BBC Academy on Friday 18th January 2013. It is taking place in association with findaTVexpert to help boost the representation of women as presenters in certain areas of the media. It will offer participants the opportunity to meet some of the UK’s leading media professionals.

Applications must be submitted by Friday 16th November 2012.
