The NIHR Public Health Research Programme invites research proposals for its researcher-led work stream to evaluate non-NHS interventions intended to improve the health of the public and reduce inequalities in health. In addition to submissions under the normal remit, proposals are sought under the following areas:

• Local Sustainable Transport Fund
• Evidence synthesis.

The closing date for submissions is 19 November 2012, 1pm.
