The Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) have announced that they will no longer be supporting project studentships associated with responsive mode standard grants.
Currently around 12 studentships are funded through these grants each year.
The change will not affect any currently funded students, or those included in proposals submitted to July’s standard grant call. Project studentships will still be funded through large grants and research programme grants.
