The programme runs from September 2011 to January 2012 and includes courses on PhD supervision, preparation for the REF and research bidding. The latter in particular looks innovative: it operates as an overlapping 3 day event, with the first two days for academics and the 2nd and 3rd day for research support staff. I’ve attended a Missenden Centre event before which was professionally run and offered valuable insights.
