1. Remember why you started
Was it career progression? To prove you could do it – or to make your mum proud? Whatever it was, use this as fuel to power you through.
2. Give yourself a break
No one can work continuously, so take time out to refocus.
3. Nail those targets!
Create short-term goals and feel the pleasure as you tick them off one by one.
4. Get your own cheerleading squad!
We don’t mean pompoms and acrobatics, just surround yourself with motivated people who believe in you and what you are doing.
5. Reward yourself
Completed a chapter? Have a hot bath. Submitted an application? Eat your favourite food. Just get through the day? Well done! Now go do what floats your boat!
