The NIHR Research for Patient Benefit Programme invites research proposals for high quality investigator-led research that address issues of importance to the NHS.

All proposals must show evidence from systematic reviews to ensure patient safety and value for money. Projects are funded to a maximum of £350k for up to 36 months.

The closing date for applications is 21 September 2012.
