The Universityof Lincoln’s UK Research Office European Advisor, Chloë Somers, will be visiting the university on Tuesday 15th May. Chloë took over from our previous European Advisor, Amy Williams, in September.
The UK Research Office (UKRO) is the Europe-based office of RCUK, providing information and advice on European Union funding for research and higher education. UKRO provide a very useful information and support service to UK universities on EC funding within the Framework Programme – and now Horizon 2020 – and beyond. They are also the UK National Contact Point for the ERC Starting and Advanced Investigator Grants and all of the Marie Curie schemes.
The schedule for the day is still to be confirmed, details will be released shortly, however information sessions for staff will take place in the morning.
