HEEFS (Higher Education European Funding Services) has today released its final bulletin on European funding for UK Universities.
HEEFS July 2011 Bulletin [PDF]
This issue covers statistics on UK HEI involvement in non-FP7 funding, news on successful Lifelong Learning Programme projects involving UK HEIs, and information on the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme.
HEEFS is closing its free service due to lack of funding, but Martin and Joanne from HEEFS will continue to offer EU funding support services on a freelance basis. The service specialised in advice, guidance and support on non-Framework funding from the EU for the UK HE sector. In this capacity they provided a useful counterpoint to UKRO. They organised and facilitated a number of useful events on EU funding over their lifespan, including one I attended last year on Arts and Culture funding in the EU.
