Marie Curie Actions provide funding opportunities for mobility and training at all stages of a researcher’s career, seek to promote research as a career and help create a market for researchers within the European Research Area (ERA).
Marie Curie funding schemes are bottom-up and open to all sectors, with the applicant deciding the research area of their project. Fellowships last between 1-2 years and provide an attractive salary in addition to a relocation allowance, travel allowance, research expenses, and management costs for the host institution.
Dr Matin Pickard will be dicsussing Marie Curie fellowships and how to write a good application in a presentation at the University on the 22nd March. More information on the Marie Curie Actions and the call documents can be found on the CORDIS website. Alternatively please contact the Research Office for support.
