From 4th March 2010, URO will be running a monthly bid writing surgery with an experienced external bid consultant, Dr. Martin Pickard (Grantcraft). The surgeries will take place on the first Thursday of every monthuntil July 2010.

Martin has been writing and supporting grant applications and projects for the past 25 years and has a wealth of experience in external funding. His advice and guidance have contributed to high levels of funding success in a number of UK universities, including Nottingham.

Dr. Pickard is available to discuss any external funding applications – at any stage. Whether you want to discuss initial ideas for funding, or you are in the final stages of bid preparation, Martin is available to help.

In addition to the monthly surgery sessions, Martin is available 24/7 for ongoing bid advice and guidance to University of Lincoln staff. He can also deliver presentations to groups of staff on a specific funding call or topic. Please contact us to find out more.
