Monthly Bid Writing Surgery

Do you need expert advice on a research proposal? The next bid writing surgery will be held on Thursday 3rd May.

Dr. Martin Pickard (Grantcraft) is an external consultant employed by theUniversityofLincolnwith over 25 years’ experience in writing and advising on grants and tenders for EU and other funders.  He has worked extensively acrossEuropewith a number of universities, research institutes and industrial firms and provides a bespoke bid writing support service for external research funding applications.

Martin’s monthly bid writing surgery will give staff an opportunity to access his 25 years of experience in supporting bids for external funding. Please contact: lsteane@lincoln.ac.uk if you wish to book an appointment to speak to Martin about a bid to any funder. Each appointment lasts around 45 mins to 1 hour.

Research Development Day 2nd May 2012

The next Researcher Development Day will take place next Wednesday, the 2nd May.

This months session will concentrate on Successful Bid Writing and is aimed at academics who already have a proposal in mind:

Successful Bid Writing, 3.5 hours, 9am – 12pm

A more intensive workshop than the ‘Introduction to Research Grant Writing, ‘ this session will provide you with the tools to start writing your way to research funding success! Participants are requested to come to this session with a proposal in mind, and to bring a laptop.  Any queries can be directed to the lsteane@lincoln.ac.uk
