The Society for Companion Animal Studies invites applications for its research projects grants. These support research on the human-animal bond, in particular projects which focus on:

•children and pets;

•older people and pets;

•people with diverse needs and pets;

•pet loss;

•bond-centred veterinary practices;

•animal-assisted interventions.

Universities, research institutes, non-profit organisations and businesses are invited to apply. Applications from consortia are welcome. Applications may be made for grants worth between £500 and £10,000 each.

Deadline: No deadline – applications will be reviewed in October 2016
