Research Councils ask for Contributions to Customer-Service Research

Academics and professionals have been asked to contribute to research which aims to uncover how service industries can improve their economic performance by designing better ways to interact with customers:

The Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Design Council and the Economic and Social Research Council have commissioned the Madano Partnership to undertake a scoping study on service design, looking at available academic research and reviewing service design’s actual and potential effects on professional practice. This work is of great importance as it will inform future funding priorities.

As part of the scoping activity, we are asking that any interested parties, based in either professional practice or academia, complete the following questionnaire to register their opinion on the topic:

The questionnaire itself should take no longer than 15 to 20 minutes to complete. The deadline for completing this questionnaire is Friday 12th October.

The survey is part of a scoping study at an early stage in the project, which is a partnership of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Design Council and the Economic and Social Research Council.
