Bookings Now Being Taken for the Next Researcher Development Day!

The next Researcher Development Day will take place next Wednesday, the 4th April. Sessions this month include a workshop on Marie Curie Fellowships following the release of this year’s call a few weeks ago (more information can be found here) a workshop on impact and benefit, and an intensive  Successful Bid Writing workshop for academics who already have a proposal in mind:

1) Marie Curie fellowships, 1.5 hours 9.00m– 10.30pm.

We will discuss what the Marie Curie fellowships scheme offers, why it’s worth applying for and how to maximise your chances of success.

2) Impact and Benefit, 1.5 hour workshop, 11.00 am- 12.30 pm.

There is an ever increasing emphasis on this aspect of research proposals; which many find difficult to address. This is a 2 hour discussion workshop developing the techniques and strategies required to maximise the many and diverse arguments and justifications required to ensure the research application is both structured correctly and presented in the optimum manner to be competitively ahead of the others.

3) Successful Bid Writing, 3.5 hours, 1.30 pm – 5.00 pm

A more intensive workshop than the ‘Introduction to Research Grant Writing, ‘ this session will provide you with the tools to start writing your way to research funding success! Participants are requested to come to this session with a proposal in mind, and to bring a laptop. Any queries can be directed to the Research mailbox.

To book your place on any of the above sessions please send an email to either Lauren Steane or the Research mailbox.
