The closing date for nominations to the NERC Peer Review College is the 27th January 2012.

There are many benefits to becoming a member of a Peer Review College. In addition to being a rewarding and enjoyable experience, previous members have also cited the following benefits:

• better understanding of NERC’s proposal assessment process;
• improving their own proposal writing;
• an overview of the type of research NERC funds;
• networking opportunities; and
• for those from public/private sector organisations, finding out who is research active in areas their organisation might want to interact/work with in future.
