Please contact research@lincoln.ac.uk if you wish to book an appointment to speak to Martin about a bid to any funder. Each appointment lasts around 45mins to 1 hour.

The UKRO annual visit is a unique opportunity for staff to stay up to date with the latest news on EU funding. The day will provide staff with an introduction to the different types of research and research-related funding available with presentations on FP7, Marie Curie and the European Research Council (ERC) grants along with a session on how to write a successful EU funding proposal. Please contact HR to book a place: training@lincoln.ac.uk.

Finding Research Funding: Wednesday 8th September, 11am-12.30pm, Computing Services Training Room 1, MAB, Brayford Campus

ESRC First Grant Workshop II: Wednesday 15th September, 9.30am-1.00pm, MB1013, Brayford Campus

The ESRC First Grants scheme enables new researchers to gain experience of managing and leading research projects. Successful applicants are able to pursue a significant programme of research for up to 3 years and £400,000. Prof. Hugh Bochel and the Research Office will jointly facilitate this workshop which will involve a discussion of the First Grant scheme, and review of participants’ draft applications. Please contact research@lincoln.ac.uk to book a place as soon as possible, and please forward a completed draft to research@lincoln.ac.uk by 13th September at the latest. This is important as discussion of the outlines will be central to the activities on the day.
