Research Professional

researchprofessional

Research Professional is perhaps the largest database of funding opportunities for research, including funding from large EU schemes to smaller, specialised charitable funds available to fund your next project! All staff at the University of Lincoln can use Research Professional without setting up an account on campus, but it’s real value is it’s ability to send daily or weekly alerts with the latest news and opportunities in your research area straight to your inbox.

Several guide are available to uses of Research Professional, these include a Quick Start Guide which explains the first steps using the website from creating an account to searching for content and setting up email alerts, and a more detailed User Guide.

There are also a number of short videos which take users through the main functions of Research Professional.

If you are not familiar with Research Professional I would highly recommend making use of one of their monthly online training sessions, which introduce the basics of creating your account from self registration to subscribing to news alerts and configuring your personal funding alerts. These sessions take no more than 60 minutes, and it is possible to ask any questions you may have.

Sessions run between 10.00am and 11.00am (UK) on the fourth Tuesday of each month.  To register please see the dates below:
