Research Outputs

The Repository Team are continuing to facilitate several practical workshops over the next few months on the Lincoln Repository.  Please send an e-mail to eprints@lincoln.ac.uk for further details.  

Whitework

The ninety minute workshops will show you: 

-  how to deposit a publication or arts research into the Lincoln Repository

-  write the necessary metadata to assist the search engines sourcing their work

-  interpret publishers’ copyright policies and guidelines 

The sessions are open to both research and administrative staff involved in uploading publications to The Lincoln Repository.  No prior knowledge is required to attend.

Did you know…….. 

It isn’t just text-based items that can be deposited onto the Repository.  A wide range of creative and applied arts outputs can also be showcased, from digital versions of painting, photography, film, graphic and textile design, to records of performances, shows and installations.

Lincoln Repository Workshops – spaces available this week

Open Access RepositoryThe Brayford Library team are continuing to run several practical sessions during August 2010, on The Lincoln Repository. The ninety minute sessions will demonstrate how to upload your publications to The Lincoln Repository, provide guidance on publishers’ copyright policies, as well as write the necessary metadata to assist the search engines sourcing their work.

Spaces are still available for the following workshops:

Tuesday 10 August 2010: 1-2.30pm and 3-4.30pm
Wednesday 11 August 2010: 9-10.30am
Thursday 12 August 2010: 9-10.30am
Friday 13 August 2010: 9-10.30am and 11-12.30pm

The venue for all sessions is UL101, University Library, Brayford Campus.
