The Research and Income Generation team will be running a Workshop for the College of Social Science to support anyone who is considering submitting an application for the above scheme.

The Small Grants scheme supports humanities and social science research projects and is an ideal opportunity for those looking for a pot of money for a small scale piece of research or those who are looking to start off their research career.

Funding is available for:

  • initial stage project planning and development, e.g. pilot studies/feasibility studies
  • direct costs of research, e.g. library and archive visits or data collection
  • advancement of research through workshops and conferences
  • visits by or to partner scholars

Collaborative or individual projects are equally welcome, and projects may involve international collaboration.

This workshop will enable you to find out more about the call, what they are looking for, top tips, and help you to turn your research ideas into a successful application.

If you are interested in attending please email: research@lincoln.ac.uk to book a spot. Please be aware attendance is for University of Lincoln Staff only.
