Forthcoming Deadline: BRITISH ACADEMY MID-CAREER FELLOWSHIPS

The British Academy is currently inviting applications from established scholars normally within fifteen years of the award of their doctorate to apply for the BA Mid-Career Fellowship scheme.

The Academy intends, through this scheme, both to support outstanding individual researchers with excellent research proposals, and to promote public understanding and engagement with humanities and social sciences. 

Level of award: Awards do not exceed an Academy contribution of £160,000 under the Full Economic Costing regime.

Deadline for submission of applications for Outline Stage: 18 September 2013
Results expected: mid-December 2013
Earliest Start Date for Research: 1 September 2014
