Places are still available at the upcoming UKRO proposal writing events on European Research Council (ERC) Advanced and Synergy Grants.
The aim of the event is to provide participants with an overview of the ERC in the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), focusing on the ERC Advanced Grants and the new ERC Synergy Grants. Participants should gain a deeper understanding of the proposal format and the key issues they are required to address in planning, writing and costing a proposal.
These events will take place at:
- University of Edinburgh, Thursday 1 December 2011;
- University College London, Friday 2 December 2011;
- University of Manchester, Wednesday 14 December 2011; and
- Royal Veterinary College, University of London, Thursday 15 December 2011.
Each session will start at 12.30 (with registration from 12.10) and close at 17.45.
The Advanced Grants Call opened on 16 November 2011, with deadlines in Spring 2012. The first ever Synergy Grants Call opened on 25 October 2011 and closes on 25 January 2012.
